The Seven Dimensions of Praise

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Psalms 100:1-5

The Seven Dimensions of Praise

An extension of the hand towards God.  Offering praise or thanksgiving as a sacrifice.

Hold out the hand making a confession of your sins.  Also, to give thanks for God’s forgiveness of sins.

To make a show, to boast, to be foolish or to rave of the goodness of God.

To address in a loud voice or to glorify God.  Also, to address the Lord  with a loud voice triumph.

To make music that is accompanied by the voice.  Celebration with  song and music to God.

To kneel before God or to bless God as an act of adoration.
